Aurora
Aurora Aksnes, born June 15th of 1996 in Stavanger and is professionally known as Aurora or, sometimes, stylized as AURORA is a Norwegian musician and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by the label Decca Records in May 2015 receiving great approval from bloggers as well as the press. Half the World Away - by Oasis - for John Lewis' Christmas ad and Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole - are already two covers worth noting that the artist has done. Katy Perry's praise for her song Runaway in a blog post added to the musician's recognition. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memory is of finding a piano hidden in her attic and being captivated by its sounds. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes advised her to use music for personal growth, rather than as a way of earning money or for to pursue an interest. Thus, she began with her own music. Her inspirations include famous writer Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan in addition to her affinity with Bjork's style. The singer decided to perform her music in public when her mom suggested they might help others not be famous with her work but to make the people around them understand their own importance and how they impact the world. As a young girl, she began to play the piano, and when she was nine was writing music. It wasn't until her 14th birthday that she told her parents. Aurora's fame was not her goal. Her sole passion is to compose music. Music to her is the best method of feeling anything.
